KANGRA ADARSH CO-OPERATIVE GROUP HOUSING SOCIETY LTD.

Fired by an unflinching basic human aspiration to have a home in National Capital, a group of zealous, dedicated and totally focused people came together and founded the KANGRA ADARSH CO-OPERATIVE GROUP HOUSING SOCIETY IN EARLY 1971. Eagerly waiting for an opportunity like this, people in large number enrolled as members to realize their dream for a house.

For the founding members the project envisaged had stupendous task and problems like allotment of land by DDA, formatting of designs and building plans. Finance posed a major hurdle because the members had limited financial means. However the hurdles were tackled successfully head on.

Getting the land allotted on location of your choice was an uphill task, but was achieved with the help of Himachali big wigs of that time. The financial deficiency was surmounted with loan from PNB, architect was appointed and the colony (Mini Himanchal) started getting shape sometime in early 1980.

A team of members, volunteers undertook the task for supervision of construction & quality of material. With the Co-operation and hard work of members, their family members, finally we were able to get our houses in early 1983. This is how a mini Himachal “KANGRA NIKETAN” came to existence.

Since then we are living to-gather with love & harmony.

The following shall be fundamental rights and duties of every member, resident, rent lease holder, so as to make it a model group housing society in capita of India.

To cherish and follow the noble ideas which inspired the founders of the society.

To promote harmony and spirit of co-operation and common brotherhood among residents and remove the derogatory practices prevailing amongst the members and ensure dignity of women and children

To value and preserve the rich heritage, culture and traditions of Himachal Pradesh.

To tender social service so as to make it a worth living society.

To protect and improve the environment by maintaining the greenery including proper maintenance of various parks and common services. Planting more and more trees for clean atmosphere.

To abide the rules and regulations as prescribed by the society and render all possible assistance in maintaining law and order in the complex.

To safeguard and protect the property of our society and to strive to word excellence in all the spheres of activities so that the status of our society goes higher and higher and achieve the level of excellence. We must follow the rule and regulations of security agency and cooperate with security guards for maintaining the security at entry points.
